Before each new restock, I recalibrate every film to ensure the best results from these single-use cameras. Calibrating #4 has always been particularly challenging, and I’ve never been fully satisfied with the results. I know this was a favorite for many people, and I’m sorry if you’ve been waiting to pick up another one—or your first—but I’ve decided to discontinue it for now. I’ll be reworking it and aiming to get the results I think are possible for a future batch.

Psychedelic Blues #4 is entirely exposed to holographic paper resulting in multiple spectrums of color throughout the roll. These colors will come from all directions, and fade in and out between frames. I’ve been working on this process for longer than I’ve been selling Psychedelic Blues, but always had trouble keeping my exposures consistent. Almost every tool used to make this film had to be built by hand, or adapted in some way, and I think it resulted in one of the most experimental and unique films I will ever make.
*Due to the nature of this process, some frames will have less of an effect and others will be much heavier.

**Because of ongoing supply chain issues and high demand for 35mm color film, my cost has tripled in the last couple of months. In order to keep this going and support myself, I had to increase my price on 36 exp. film from $17.50 to $20. I am very sorry. Hopefully regular supply comes back next year and if it does, I'll be dropping the prices back down to reflect that. Thank you for understanding. I hate raising prices.
