Psych Blues #6 has multi-colored circles and windows of light, as well as full frames of color and areas with a slight color shift. The shapes of color will change positions from roll to roll, sometimes they’ll be directly in the middle of your frame, and sometimes they’ll creep in from the sides.

Psych Blues #3 is a reworked version of the first film I was selling. Although the look is similar in ways, the process is completely different and will overall produces a more interesting film. Red, blue, purple, pink, and orange light will show up as streaks and orbs throughout the roll, and also completely dominate some frames. My plan for this film is to keep it evolving between every couple of batches, and the process itself was designed to turn out more variations between rolls.

Psychedelic Blues #4 is entirely exposed to holographic paper resulting in multiple spectrums of color throughout the roll. These colors will come from all directions, and fade in and out between frames. I’ve been working on this process for longer than I’ve been selling Psychedelic Blues, but always had trouble keeping my exposures consistent. Almost every tool used to make this film had to be built by hand, or adapted in some way, and I think it resulted in one of the most experimental and unique films I will ever make.
*Due to the nature of this process, some frames will have less of an effect and others will be much heavier.

With a few similar looks popping up in the small experimental film market, I wanted Psych Blues #5 to be something new and more distinguishable from other films. Although some of the colors and effects might remind you of my other films, Psych Blues #5 looks completely different. The color blows-out the edges of the negative and fades into the center of the frame, causing the image to look framed. Throughout the roll you will find a few vertical streaks of light and areas that look a bit like a galaxy, but most of the light is kept off the center of the frame to help retain your exposures color.
